I had been driving in Hilton Head Island, SC, and came upon a Great Egret perfectly placed at the top of a lagoon. I pulled over and was able to grab one of my favorite photos I have taken. I shot on a Canon Canonet QLl17 Giii rangefinder film camera.

I decided to see how far I could take this photo creatively. I brought it into Illustrator to play with. I then prepared it to be screen printed. I went through several iterations that you can see bellow but landed on a print that I really connect with.
