Created a brand for a new Lincoln Park café while building and retaining customers.

French Quiche is a new restaurant concept from Chef Dominique and Chad Bertelsman that opened in November of 2020. French Quiche, a quintessential neighborhood meeting spot, where you will find a variety of quiche, tartines, sandwiches, and more. The affordable menu makes French Quiche a perfect café for the whole community. You can enjoy the bustle of Halsted Street from the indoor seating or tuck yourself away in the private courtyard.

Branding. Web Design. Marketing. Photography. Social Media. Graphic Design. Email Marketing.

I began working with French Quiche from conception. I worked with them to create a brand, logo, signage, and consult on pre-opening marketing. The restaurant was due to open in April of 2020 but with COVID-19, the opening was pushed back to November 2020. We had to pivot our marketing strategy to focus on To-Go ordering instead of in-person dining. I worked on creating a website that properly integrated online ordering and a strongly branded social media presence. I used Squarespace to create the website and coordinated with Chef Dominique to style and photograph his menu. In the restaurant world, emails are the most valuable way to reach a customer. We were able to bring over the email list from Chef Dominique’s other restaurant, Chez Moi, which I had been building for over two years. We started off with a strong email audience that we grew through French Quiche’s rewards program.  After opening, I stayed on retainer with the restaurant to provide social media coordination, design, photography, and marketing services.
